I am presently working as an Analyst at a boutique Investment Bank
How I got here — from the Colgate Investment Group to investment banking.
Joining the Colgate Investment Group a couple months into college sparked my interest in finance. I was drawn in by the collegiate culture and the intersection of strategic and quantitative thinking. As an analyst in the consumer retail sector, I loved picking apart a business and utilizing everyday experiences of staple companies to inform investment decisions.
I spent the next summer at Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business with the Bridge Program to explore business more broadly and had another positive experience in an Investment Banking role. I collaborated with a team of 5 peers and a tight deadline to produce and present a DCF and acquisition recommendation for Caterpillar Inc to a panel of faculty and industry executives.
Professional growth as a Strategic Implementation Analyst in the Global Capital Markets group at Wilmington Trust further developed my industry interest and expertise. After only 6 months, I led a team of 5 coworkers in transforming monthly reports by automating them with Power BI and identifying reporting efficiencies.
Joining an Investment Bank was a natural next step. I thoroughly enjoy helping companies grow and navigate complex financial situations, then seeing the impact of that work play out in the news. I am thriving in the fast-paced, challenging, collegiate environment of an Investment Bank.
